About Myriah Pahl

Myriah has a passion for helping people heal with the power of their own bodies. She never ceases to be amazed by the transformations that can take place with the care and attention of hands-on physical therapy treatments. She combines a broad array of techniques to address chronic pain, acute injury, and postural imbalances. Myriah draws attention to alignment, control, soft tissue restrictions, and the mind-body connection in her treatments.

Myriah received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from The Graduate Center and Hunter College, City University of New York. She has a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from Eugene Lang College, The New School. She keeps up her journey of lifelong learning with regular continuing education. She has taken courses in Manual Treatment Techniques for Headaches, Myofascial Release, Visceral Mobilization, Sacroiliac Joint and Lumbopelvic Spine Manual Treatment, and Back Education and Training. Myriah is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) and is certified in Pilates (Mat). She has studied and continues to explore the application of yoga to physical therapy treatments.

When not treating patients Myriah can be found backpacking on the side of remote mountains, thinking about the next elaborate meal sheʼs going to cook, or laughing while trying to balance twisted up like a pretzel on one arm in yoga classes. She has developed her language of movement and collected and recovered from plentiful injuries through training and exploration in Yoga, Pilates, trampoline, trapeze, gymnastics, circus arts, and long distance hiking.
