Every year we all have resolutions that we promise ourselves we are going to follow through with THIS year.
We start strong and then fizzle out. Be it a new exercise regimen or the diet that’s going to start “Monday.” We are all guilty of it. It doesn’t have to be that way. This year take a look back at 2011 – reflect and learn from it. Start with taking a look at your thought as they control everything you do and how you experience life. It even affects how your body functions.
I believe that your thought creates your reality.
Sit down with yourself in a quiet area and really get inside your head. Look at all the big moments you have experienced…good and bad. How did you process your thoughts? What was your outlook on the experience? For example, let’s say you have ended a relationship.
Based on how “healthy” your thoughts are, you can see it as some terrible mistake or you can see it as a beautiful experience. Be grateful for it and look forward to the next chapter in your life. Remember you can’t choose how someone reacts but you can control how you react.
Having healthy thoughts makes you better equipped to handle all setbacks gracefully. You will be ready to take on the world mentally, physically and emotionally. What unhealthy thought patterns are you ready to let go of and what will you gain by doing so?
