We have one goal at Well Balanced Chiropractic: to restore and maintain the integrity of the spinal cord and its nerve roots. These vital nerve pathways are located in and protected by the bones of the spines (vertebrae). Misalignments of the vertebrae that interfere with the function of these nerve pathways are called vertebral subluxations. These subluxations are caused by many of your daily activities and keep your whole body from functioning optimally.

The objective of Well Balanced Chiropractic is to provide adjustments to correct subluxations, thereby restoring normal nerve function. With a proper nerve supply your whole body is better able to express its full potential.

About the Chiropractor

Raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Dr. Prakash’s interest in the Chiropractic profession resulted from a conversation with Dr. Robert DeBonis, a practicing New York City Chiropractor and father of his college roommate. After earning his undergraduate degree in Psychology with honors from University of Maryland, Baltimore County, Dr. Ankur Prakash enrolled in Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California and graduated in 2004. During his academic profession Dr. Prakash served as President of the Delta Sigma Chi International Chiropractic Fraternity, and was awarded Life Chiropractic College West “Student of the Year” in 2003.

Dr. Prakash has spoken at several different venues promoting and educating audiences about chiropractic, such as the Integral Yoga Institute, the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, and La Scuola d’Italia School in Manhattan.
